Meet New Composer, Ms. Wesh

My name is Stephanie Wesh and I am a film composer. I have been composing films for about 5 years now and counting. Right now I’m in school to obtain a degree in film composing. I currently have 3 IMDB credits and have been part of several film festivals and film competitions. The festivals include the Boden International Film Festival, Beyond Entertainment Family Film Festival, and the 40TH Chicago, International Children’s Film Festival. I do play piano as my only instrument of knowledge and continue to play and usethis to score. I am currently continuing to score songs of various genres to add to my portfolio and to expand my capabilities artistically.

Stephanie’s schtick

For a while I had developed an interest in film trailers, especially trailers that use remixes or different arrangements of popular songs. I have been attempting to do the same thing, mostly for exposure and to broaden my talent. I have covered over 5 songs and have changed the arrangements for them for different types of trailers ranging from drama to horror. Sometimes Ilike to create music even with a trailer or any visual aid. It’s different and it’s a perfect way to stick out.
